Welcome to Lenbi (“we,” “us,” “our”). These Terms and Conditions (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of the Lenbi platform, including our website, mobile applications, and related services (collectively, the “Platform”).

By accessing or using Lenbi, you agree to comply with these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use our Platform.

1. About Lenbi

Lenbi is a community-based sharing platform that connects people who want to borrow and lend everyday items within their neighborhoods.

Users can list items for rent (“Lenders”) or borrow listed items (“Borrowers”) through our secure peer-to-peer platform.

2. Eligibility

To use Lenbi, you must:

  • Be at least 18 years old.
  • Have the legal capacity to enter into binding agreements.
  • Provide accurate, up-to-date, and complete registration information.

Lenbi reserves the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these conditions.

3. Account Registration

You must create an account to access most features of Lenbi.

You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials and for all activities under your account. Notify us immediately if you suspect unauthorized access.

4. Listing and Renting Items

  • Lenders may list items they own and wish to rent out.
  • Borrowers may browse, request, and rent available items.
  • Both parties are responsible for ensuring the accuracy of item descriptions, photos, and availability.

Lenbi is not a party to rental agreements between users; we simply facilitate the connection and payment process.

5. Payments

All payments are processed securely through Stripe or other approved payment providers.

  • Borrowers agree to pay the listed rental fee and any applicable charges.
  • Lenders receive payment after successful completion of a rental transaction, minus any service fees.
  • Service fees help maintain the platform and support our operations.

Lenbi is not responsible for delays or issues caused by third-party payment processors.

6. Cancellations and Refunds

Cancellations must be made according to the policies set out in the app or on our website.

Refunds (if applicable) will be processed at Lenbi’s discretion based on the circumstances of the rental and both parties’ agreement.

7. Item Condition and Responsibility

Users must:

  • Ensure items are in safe, functional condition before lending.
  • Return borrowed items in the same condition they were received.
  • Immediately report any damage, loss, or issues through the Lenbi support team.

Lenbi is not responsible for damages, losses, or injuries arising from the use of rented items.

8. Disputes Between Users

Lenbi encourages open communication to resolve disputes.

In case of unresolved conflicts, our support team may mediate but cannot guarantee outcomes.

Lenbi does not provide insurance coverage at this time, though we are working toward integrated protection solutions.

9. Prohibited Activities

You agree not to:

  • List or rent illegal, stolen, or hazardous items.
  • Misuse the Platform or engage in fraudulent activity.
  • Post false, misleading, or defamatory content.
  • Interfere with other users’ use of the Platform.

Violation of these rules may result in immediate account suspension or termination.

10. Intellectual Property

All content on the Lenbi Platform—including logos, text, images, and software—is owned or licensed by Lenbi and protected by copyright laws.

You may not copy, modify, or distribute any part of our Platform without prior written consent.

11. Privacy

Your use of Lenbi is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which explains how we collect, use, and protect your personal information.

By using the Platform, you consent to the data practices described therein.

12. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Lenbi and its affiliates shall not be liable for any:

  • Indirect, incidental, or consequential damages,
  • Loss of income, data, or goodwill,
  • Issues arising from interactions between users.

You use Lenbi at your own risk.

13. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your access at any time if we believe you have violated these Terms or acted in a way that harms the community or the platform.

14. Changes to These Terms

Lenbi may update these Terms periodically. Updated versions will be posted on our website with a new “Last updated” date.

Your continued use of the Platform means you accept the revised Terms.
